Hosting

This site is hosted on Vercel. Visiting it causes your browser to automatically send data to Vercel's servers, including your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of your visit ("server log data"). This is necessary to deliver the site to you and is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating a functioning, secure website. DNS for this domain is managed through Cloudflare, which resolves domain lookups but is not configured to inspect or proxy site traffic.

Analytics and marketing tools

We use analytics and marketing tools, managed through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use this site and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing - currently including tools from Google (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (such as the Meta/Facebook Pixel), and we may add, remove, or change specific tools over time as our marketing activities evolve. These tools use cookies and similar technologies, may collect information about your device, browser, and how you interact with this site, and may share this with Google or Meta, including to build a profile connected to your visit if you are logged into a Google or Meta account. Data processed this way may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Cookies and tools that aren't strictly necessary for the site to function, like these, require your prior consent under German law (§ 25 TTDSG). You can prevent this processing by disabling cookies in your browser or using a browser extension that blocks these tools.

Contact and consultation forms

If you use the contact form, the "Discuss Your Project" consultation form, or otherwise reach out with a project inquiry, we collect the information you provide - typically your name, email address, a contact method, and details about your property and project. We use this to respond to your inquiry and, if you proceed, to prepare and deliver a project proposal. This processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, where a business relationship follows, on the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Submissions are sent through Resend, our email delivery provider, which may process your data on servers outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to "Hotel Growth Notes," we collect your email address to send it to you. We use Loops, a third-party email service provider, to manage this list and send these emails; your email address is stored with Loops, which may process data outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. This processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by applicable law, and delete or anonymize it after that.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive it in a portable format.
